I HAVE CANCER, NOW WHAT?

Living with cancer is all about mental management and unfortunately in the beginning there will always be a B. C. (Before Cancer Ruined My Life) and sadly there’s no going back. However, the only way out is to move forward.
Give yourself time to process the diagnosis and let it sink in.
It will feel like death at first, a loss of safety, but cancer won’t always be your first or last thought of the day. Life goes on. Dishes still need to be done, laundry still needs to be washed and bills still need to be paid. As you begin to accept cancer you will find cancer is just another thing in your life you have to roll with. Once you have accepted and acknowledged cancer in your life, there’s nothing you can´t do! Trust me.
There is a cure. Keep in mind early detection and regular visits to the oncologist can make a significant difference. So, you’re probably wondering, what tests diagnose breast cancer?

There are tons of feelings that you need to process as a result of your diagnosis. Support groups and even therapists can help you cope. Being around family and friends is always a great source of strength – nonetheless, remember they are trying their best to understand you, it doesn’t always mean they do, and that’s fine too.
